Articulatory and perceptive investigation of speech sounds is done on the basis of a good knowledge of the voice and sound producing mechanisms, their structure, work and perceptive (auditory) effects, that is-physiology and psychology.
The current importance of the present research is evident because theoretical background of English language phonetics is very important. In order to know English it is important to know how speech sounds appear and how listeners perceive speech sounds.
