The current importance of the present research is evident as soon as Americans constitute the majority of the world’s native speakers of English (about 240 million people), compared with about 57 million speakers in Britain. And the problem of correct translation of americanisms should be solved in the process of preparing future translaotrs and interpreters. The main aim of this paper is to provide an overview of Americanisms in English speech and their translation peculiarities. This aim has identified the following tasks: - to study the development of American English language; - to describe sources of Americanisms in English language; - to find out difficulties of translation of Americanisms into Kazakh language; - to analyse methods used for translation of Americanisms. The present work is consisting of Introduction, two Chapters and Conclusion. In the Introduction there were identified current importance and the main aim of the research. In the first Chapter was studied general notion of Americanisms. In the second Chapter were analyzed the difficulties and methods of translation Americanisms into Kazakh language.
