ВУЗ: ЕНУ им. Л.Н.Гумилева The novelty of the present investigation is in that we tried to classify the existing active methods and offer new ones at English lessons of a primary school. The theoretical significance is that there are many different methods used at English lesson but nowadays it is necessary to use more active methods such as role games, brainstorming, ICT and projects from the early stage of learning a foreign language in order to cause more interest in pupils of primary school. The practical significance is that the results of the work can be used at universities to teach students and for further investigation. Theoretical and methodological basis consists of the works of famous authors, such as I.P. Podlasy, I.A. Zimnyaya, A.A Verbitsky, T.A. Samoylova, L.Howles & C.Pettengill, I.Fragoulis, D.Hoven, L. F.Kasper, Н.К. Ахметов, Ж..С. Хайдаров, З. С. Несипбаева and others. The aim of the work is to analyse the functioning of active methods of teaching English language at primary school.
